Ron was elected to the Board of Directors in 1983, in 2007 he will have served 8 -3 year terms.  Ron was President of the Board from 1998 - 2004.  Throughout his years on the board Ron has sat on all three committees - Member Relations, Finance and is currently a member of the Facilities Committee.  Ron has attended many Federated Co-operative's Annual Meeting and Fall Conferences, many times acting as a delegate of Weyburn Co-op.

He is challenged by the changes that have taken place with new and enhanced competition and feels the the Weyburn Co-op has an excellent opportunity to be of service to the new customers it will attract to Weyburn.
