Franz has been a Co-op member for over 30 years.  He is married to Monika Phillips and has one son - Markus. 

Franz was elected to the Weyburn Co-op in 2006. He has served on the member relations Committee and has attended several training courses. He attended the FCL Fall Conference in 2006 and the District Meeting in 2007. 

Franz Brings to the Co-op:  experience as follows

1. Dipl. Ing (Masters in Engineering - Germany)  Federal Inspector, technical Branch Germany for 3 years;
2. Diploma in business administration- Fort Worth, Texas ;
3. Southern Pacific Co. San Francisco - several departments: engineering, finance, legal, administration, translation - 3 years;
4. In South America - consulting engineering and instructor for telecommunication - 3 years.;
5. U of S, Saskatoon - to establish teaching credentials.
6. WCS, Weyburn - first two years screening bids from suppliers, purchasing, invoices, etc for the entire Tech. Voc. Dept in the Superintendents office;
7. After 31 years at WCS he retired in 2003;
8. He would like to devote some time to the Co-op and thereby to the community of Weyburn.
