Del was first elected to the Board of directors in 2002. 

Del has been a member of the Finance Committee since his election in 2002.  

Weyburn Co-op is not Del's first experience as a co-op Board member, he previously sat on the Board of the Lafleche Co-operative prior to moving to Weyburn.

One of the Co-op membership benefit slogans is "Community Builder".  Del feels that Weyburn has given him and his family much and that by serving as a director on the Weyburn co-operative Board he is giving back to the community as Weyburn Co-operative is truly "Working in and for the community".
